How do you keep them from getting smudged? Nice sketch.

Thanks! Sometimes I use a clean sheet of paper under hand to keep from transferring the color and to keep it smudge free. But most of the time I work with my hands away from the sketch. To keep it from smudging when inside the journal, a sheet of tracing paper will keep if from smudging too badly.

nice job.. I was wondering the same thing that KirbysArt asked. Glad to see the answer. I will have to try oil pastel in my watercolor moleskine. i would have thought it would be a big mess. Thanks!
