Welcome to Skineart! I think you did a fabulous job, especially with foreshortening. The hand is the perfect size based on perspective and a face at that angle is difficult. But you pulled it off wonderfully. After looking really hard to find anything to improve what I see is perhaps a fourth knuckle would be showing (?) if not the finger. His hair is great but does it really end so clean and abrupt behind his ear? Speaking of ear, great job on that too! Bravo!

I wouldn’t dare to comment on someone’s portraits as I am useless at drawing figures. The only thing I have discovered is regular sketching works for me. Even if things don’t go the way you plan the experience you build up helps. Good luck with your efforts and welcome to this website.
