I always learn a lot from your sketches, Susan and I’m sure others appreciate them as well. When I look, again, at them I usually see something new. In this case, I think the way you have depicted the stonework is great but, revisiting the sketch there are small delights such as the figures in the doorway suggesting you will have had to think about the different “layers” before picking up your pen. Thanks for this.
Thank you, Bob. I love drawing layers. Just like playing chess, you have to plan a few moves ahead. The more I look at this, the more blatant it is with the perspective mess-up on the porch overhang.
