On a certain night of the full moon, a young unmarried woman may go out to the standing stones, light a bonfire and do a dance in sacrifice to the Stones, to pray for a good husband. It is said that then sometimes, the stones come to life… However, the women who have done the dance have kept resolutely silent about what EXACTLY it is that happens on those magic nights.
