  Awesome Opossums

  TWo versions of a silly little character that came about from a silly conversation with friends.

  Well, Bob, ‘awesome opossums!’ is a phrase I picked up somewhere and I say it as an exclamation when things are going well (like when broken experimental devices are fixed or it’s been a particularly good day at work, or I get surprise good news, etc.)

  During the course of this conversation I used that phrase and a friend mentioned how ‘Awesome Opossum’ could be a new superhero. We then speculated on what possible powers such a caped crusader might have (an uncanny ability to play dead? A knack for falling out of tress onto unsuspecting bad guys? ) and by the end of it I decided I had to make an attempt at drawing the furry hero Awesome Opossum.
