Each morning my hotel in France shows a Tell-sell television show at breakfast. Imagine Mr T (yes, the one from the A-team) looking at some mini oven and exclaiming: “regarde maman, je cuisine!”. Oh hero of my youth, how low can you sink.

You obviously haven’t seen him advertising chocolate bars. “Eat this or else!” sort of stuff. Mind you, I might do the same in his position. Thanks for the laugh, Rene.

That was the clip with him driving a tank? I saw it, I still think that was close to the Mr T image. But Mr T enjoying cooking? He should eat anything raw.

Hahahahah, that reminds me of my dad: Every time he visited family in Germany and saw “Bonanza” on German TV he couldn’t help but break out in gales of laughter. Somehow it just didn’t fit.

I live near the German border, and in my youth we watched German lipsync versions of Bonanza and Star Trek. “Sende mich hoch, Scotty”. I later years the original english version sounded weird….
