Queens day in Utrecht. As we were walking along the “grote gracht” suddenly before our eyes a giant tree collapsed into the canal. There was no wind or any other reason. Some time later the police and firebrigade arrived to cut down the tree, which gave me the chance to sketch it on location.

Well, a tree can collapse when it die… Very common thing to happen back when I was living in Florida, even the tree look alive too..
