Another Samara (for steveloya). Watersoluble graphite and 0.5 mm pencil. First time posting, for what’s it’s worth. I thought I might finally give something back after visiting the site for a year.

Thanks. I grind the watersoluble graphite on a very fine sharpening stone, then wet it with the brush to use as a wash. When dry I come back in with the 0.5 mm pencil. The look is inspired by/stolen from a da Vinci ink-and-wash.
