Did this drawing on a recent visit to my sisters place down in Cornwall, Its a view of what you would call their back yard, the back garden being further to the right of the picture. It shows the outbuildings of the house the ones in the forground are old pig styes The building behind that you can just see the roof of,was at one stage a slaughter house for the butchers shop that was built at the front of the house[to the left] My brother in law now has his blacksmiths forge in it so it has seen many uses in its time. The inside of the buildings would make great subject in themselves being full of old timber tools etc etc.My brother in law is the king of make do and mend nothing is thrown away or allowed to go to waste!

Your brother in law sounds like a man after my own heart, Nick. Maybe we all should make more of what we have. Great composition here.
