Screenprinting and ink drawing. I just started this moly by printing random textures and pieces of images into it. I will draw and print over this first layer. This is brand new fun for me. Please look for future entries into this book. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrtyhrrs/

Great technique and work of art, Marty! The silkscreen is exclusively the color, and the greys are the ink? The white details are a nice touch.

Can you explain the silkscreen process, no clue on my part?
Awesome drawing this would be really cool for an oil painting, impasto.

@Kirby: Silkscreening is very common for designing t-shirts. I have done this when I was in Graphic Art class, it is a process of work you have design as a stencil to place it on a screen and have the ink mesh through the screen on to t-shirts. You can read more about it.. Its a fun project, but it is quite a process.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen-printing

You always have impressive printing techniques, Marty. I enjoy seeing them.

This was real renegade stuff. I exposed some designs to the screen. I stretched the book(s) out, picked up the screen and squeegee, and printed randomly. It was messy and fun. I also used the squeegee without a screen, Simply painting with it. I will be adding other screened images as I go along.
Thank you all for you kind support.
