Barbecue Area, Almondell Park – Watercolour/Ink in a Watercolour Moleskine
The Barbecue Area was deserted last Thursday. It was very windy and very cold. There was only one idiot there – me! I had left the warmth of the house to fill my lungs with fresh air and took my sketchbook with me. A few people, mainly dog walkers, passed by and shook their heads in sympathy. I did not stay long preferring to finish this later when my fingers had thawed out. At least I got the place to myself and have also some other scenes to bore you all with. In a few months it will be impossible to get peace and quiet here as the sausage sizzlers return.

That’s beautiful. You’ve really nailed the color, contrast, and layout on this one.
