Spring Dawn, Freelands Road – Watercolour/Ink in a Watercolour Moleskine
Its been a long winter. Normally, at this time of year, these grass verges are a mass of yellow daffodils, in fact a local joke says that children never have to pay for “Mothers’ Day” flowers. (Mothers’ Day was last Sunday). One report, in a newspaper, suggests that all the bulbs, of all the different species, will suddenly burst through when the first hint of warmth hits us. This will be instead of a succession of different types of flowers. It said that everything will come at once. Should be worth waiting for.
