I’m really loving these color experiments; I used to be afraid of using color because I felt I had no clue how to go about making pictures that looked ‘good.’ I’ve gotten over that a bit and just decided to get my hands dirty and see what happens. Even if I get a result I don’t like, there’s so much for me to learn about the interplay of colors and shapes and how the pencils themselves go down on the paper and mix with each other, etc.; that the process of just experimenting is a great thing for me.
