Touch of MPFC here. I’ve seen this picture before. Its the famous scene of Robert Falcon Scott at the south pole during a whiteout.

Nijaz, I think your picture is upside down.

.
exquisite !
.
consummate and delightful excellence
.
so delicate, and flawless technique
.
perfect balance of pain and tenderness…
.
what more to ask ?
.
(well, maybe to overtake Bob in the
number of comments — an new
record with this one ?)

I think personally that you have over worked it, just a bit!!

By the way nice wood floor.

@Nick — wood floor ?
.
(I thought it’s the frame)
.
(goes back to softly weeping…)

Thanks guys! I’m surprised at how well this was received – it shows that we are grown-up community in terms of art! Good!

Bob, What’s MPFC? Never heard of it?
Leo, you are right, but it’s upside-down on purpose – I wanted to CONFUSE A CAT!
John and Nick, it is not a floor – I painted that on a piece of looking glass!
Nick, I’m workaholic – just can’t help it – dunno when to stop!
I hope we don’t stop at this…

Ziza —
.
I printed out a high resolution version
of this, framed it and put up on the living
room wall.
.
Are you saying that I should rotate 180 degrees ?
(at the moment, my dog is really confused, too.)

I can recognize a bit of Parquet flooring at a 1000 yards[meters for the europeans!]Even if I can’t spell it.
You cannot pull the wool over my eyes.
Ziza 2:32 pm on February 2, 2010 | #
John, this is done in special invisible ink. If you use right chemicals on your printed version on the wall of the living room, you should be able to see the nearly frozen face of the Scott of the Antarctic as Bob pointed out (he’s obviously got right chemicals) up his sleeve! However, I wouldn’t recommend doing it at home on your own.
Nick, you can’t blame me for trying. Pure English wool is so scarce nowadays…

Ah-ha, Ziza !
.
Now I understand…
.
I have drawn with water before.
and also with espresso or other strong
coffees or tea.
but, drawing and painting invisibly is
really special:
like this:.

.
the magic is at the very end of the process.

.
somehow I think you know this guy – maybe the
two of you have collaborated on either art or
song-writing projects ?
Ziza 2:48 pm on February 2, 2010 | #
Excellent one John, but he uses visible ink at the end which I consider unacceptable if you exercise how not to be seen. It becomes absurd if you are seen at the end (eventually), doesn’t it?
Ziza 2:54 pm on February 2, 2010 | #
The song is great too. I’m afraid I cant take any credit for it or for the art, even though I wouldn’t mind.

This time, only I’ve noticed the texture of the paper and I said:? “What is this?”. ¿? ¿? ¿?
It’s The Surrealism!
—o–
Está vez, sólo me he fijado en la textura del papel y me dicho a mi misma: “¿Qué es ésto?”. ¿? ¿?
Ah!!! ¡Es El Surrealismo!.

I think you’ve caught extremely well that excitement mixed with dread that comes just before the start of an artwork. Not an easy emotion to catch. Well done!

You should expose at MOMA!

Thanks everyone, it is pleasing to know when your requiring efforts are appreciated. But wait till I post my invisible Moley from Kathmandu! This is peanuts compared to that!

Does anyone know which post had the most comments? Perhaps Leo?
