Snowy Farmyard – Watercolour in a Watercolour Moleskine

The scene shows a farmyard near East Calder, not far from our village. The inspiration for this was to try a sky in the style of Roland Hilder who used a variety of “hard washes” to get his desired effect. He specialised in creating vast skies giving the impression of lots of space. I hope this has worked.
