It looks like Ha Long Bay (which I did in a couple of recent posts). Very nicely done. Are there other colours or is it just green? Not that somthing’s wrong with green… nudge, nudge, wink,

Norty, I saw your watercolors in one of your pics. What a nice box!!! I’m red of jealousy, haha!
Ziza, I knew that place existed, but I didn’t know where to find it. A chinese friend told me about this amazing place. How did you get there? I want to be there RIGHT NOW! By the way, I saw your Ha Long Bay drawings, and they are by far better than mines

Ha Long Bay is in Vietnam near Hanoi. I was there 4-5 times in 2001-2003 for business matters (flood protection project “Red River Project”). I think they have something alike in China (I’ve seen such loaf-like mountains, but no islands – though there might be). Go and visit if you can + the food is excellent especially if you have it on a boat among those islands!
Finally, I don’t think your painting is in any sense inferior – on the contrary! Mine are far too stiff and both on the non-watercolour paper. I’ll try to loosen them further in the near future and perhaps do them on proper paper?!
