drawn on my moleskine with a staedtler pigment line at travemunde (lubeck-germany) on the Baltic sea then watercolored at home in hamburg. Fishermen’s boat just get in with the catch of the day. I bought two very fresh plaices.

Love the feel of this. I agree with Nikira – great details. Really makes you feel like you’re there. Hope you enjoyed the plaice you bought.

Great amount of detail. Do you intend to make a fuller version of this as you have appended notes? In any case it looks nice a nice “plaice”.

Awesome adventure Andrea!! Nice sketch too, I hope the fish tasted good
never had one of those. Looks like what we call a flounder in Texas. On the Pacific Side theres Sole and Halibut.

thank you all boys! Your comments delights and encourages me! The fish was delicious, in italy we call it ‘sogliola’, in venitian ‘passarìn’, may be it’s a ‘sole’ or ‘plaice’. May be I’ll do a fuller version later. For the moment I wish you a nice end of the day (in Italy)!
