A snowy landscape.
By now, there is no more snow here, but is cooooold!!!
I bought this souvenir in Prague. It is the Clock Tower at the Old Town Square. It was before christmas, a couple of years ago, and everytime I think of Prague, in my mind I can see a city just like this drawing. Magical, old fashioned, fairy tale like.
I think I will return to Prague. Maybe next spring, on Easter holidays…

Very good. That’s not an easy subject to draw!

Very good Mhurie. A great way to keep your own snow but if you really want some I can sell you plenty – buyer collects

You know, my mother visited Prague before WWII, and she still talked about the magic of that city for 50 years afterwards. I was wondering if the magic would disappear once the developers got their hands on it after the fall of communism, but it sounds, from your description, like it’s still magical. Hope you get to go back soon. Be sure and take your sketchbook with you.

PS: I’m not quite sure as my memory is getting bad, but I think the film “Amadeus” was shot in Prague because the film makers couldn’t find the right atmosphere in Vienna when it was filmed, and it was there in abundance in Prague.

Greetings from the Czech Rep. Praha is (still) awesome. Romantic with snow and vibrant in summer.

I fully agree. Prague is a magical city, especially in the evening/night, in winter, with snow. I made a watercolour to convey that athmosphere (no moleskine), see http://www.flickr.com/photos/renefijten/3048082915/in/set-72157616134728888/
