Looking for my wings.
I want a dragonfly tattoo, and I need it to be something very special. I’m not a “tattoo woman”, but there have been a lot of changes in my life in the last year, and I want something that remembers me who I am and how much I’ve changed, and how important this changes are.
So, I want a dragonfly tattoo at my right shoulder.
I don’t know if it sounds very logical.
But I’m not a very logical woman…
Well… Do you like my wings?
I think I like the ones at the top right. What do you think?
(They are based on native american designs, slightly similar to the ones I saw last summer in Canada’s West Coast)

Lovely collection of butterflies but do you really need a tattoo since you already have these as a reminder of this time?

Beautiful dragonfly wings. I like all of them. Tatoos are a statement about who you are, so if you go ahead with it, choose the ones YOU like best. Lovely drawings!

I like all of these, but would choose the lightest one that is curved. Somehow the curve indicates movement. I have a flutter of six life size and realistic monarchs on my shoulder and I love that it looks like they are just arriving. And I echo what John said. It needs to be what YOU like best. Maybe have a friend draw one on your shoulder with a sharpie so you can live with it a few days. Placement is as important as subject. Good luck! Hope you love it.

Thank you all.
I think I like the curved shape too, Lia, but I dont like this wings very much. I prefer the native stile. Maybe I will draw a mixed dragonfly, with a curved body and native wings.
