This is a pond near my house. I didn’t add anything in the background just to let you know I don’t live in the middle of nowhereville. )
Caused by a recent storm blowing through this Chinese Tallow tree didn’t make it.

Nice desolate scene which describes recent stormy weather. Be honest, though. You DO live in the middle of nowhere don’t you?

I like this because it looks so calm (after the storm) and peaceful. No Houston skyline in your view?

LOL. There were a bunch of trees in the background and a house and a bunch of clutter.

Oohh, I love Houston, I wish I had more time to do sketches there. Lately our car drives like its ready to fall into all kinds of pieces. So I’m limitted on traveling on the freeways(40mph tops I have to use blinkies:)).
Trebor, lol. Sometimes I wish I did but then theres not a lot of variation of things to sketch. If you have to walk yes I would be in the middle of nowhere
. I live about 2 miles from the nearest store and about 4 miles from downtown Manvel. The further south I go the closer I get to nowherville until I hit another town called Angleton then some more towns then nowherville again for a long time until you get to Chorpus Christi then it seems like your really in the middle of nowhereville(bring gas) until you reach Brownsville/Harlingen then your approaching the Rio Grande and after that your in Mexico(haven’t been farther than that keep you posted). If I went north I would hit Houston and you can get lost if your not from around there especially on city roads. Then after Houston more towns and more towns then you hit a lot of pine forests and headed towards more small towns lots of hills and did I say pine trees, lots of them its like a pine belt. Its funny if you know the area like me I can pretty much tell you where the pine belt kind of fans out south of Houston. The further north you go you end up in Rudat territory
Then after there your in nomans land and you might as well go back home
If you head west its more of the same less pine and more rolling hills more mesquite trees and starts to get rocky. Head East and Lots of towns and bam right into the Gulf of Mexico, Ive been there before many of times and sometimes you can feel your in another world
TEXAS is HUGE
Have a happy NEW YEAR EVERYONE
