  Susan. You are obviously very much younger that I. Lemon tree was one of the songs popularised by Peter, Paul and Mary. I can’t find a video of them singing it but here is a cover

  My mom used to sing me the Peter Paul & Mary song “Lemon Tree”. That’s exactly what I heard in my head when I saw your drawing, Susan!
