  I used to spend hours making things like this on the beach (When I was a kid I hasten to add). The best mix, I recall, was some sand from BELOW the surface, slightly wetted so it kept its shape. My poor mother was always sweeping up the stuff I brought home in my shoes, clothes etc. She used to say I was trying to relocate the beach which moots the question, “are you stealing sand, James?”

  My car is simply a collection of stuff tracked in by my kids from the beach. But at least I get some cool drawings out of it.
