Very intriguing. Wonderful work.
Please, can you give a few words on the technique ?
It seems to be mixed media. Is the brass metal worked
independently from the ‘skine paper? And the ink and
watercolor completed. Then, metal glued/attached onto
the ‘skine paper ?
What is the medium for the hair, hands, and feet ?
I’m sorry to have so many questions, but this work is
really different – exceptional. And, it’s motivating – I
want to try this process for illuminated pages in a large
Moleskine (such as illuminated manuscript.)

I am also curious what material is that? And paper holds it? Interesting texture.

Thank you very much for your kind comments John, Bob and Roger.
We will gladly explain. Yes, mixed media, because it uses three artistic techniques: drawing, ink, collage and watercolor, combined in the same work. The mixed media is so named from the use of 2 or more artistic techniques as drawing, oil or acrylic, collage, photography, etc. combined into a single work. Yes, I have worked independently of the moleskine notebook using ink and watercolor.
The hair, hands and feet are made with black ink.
I’m not sure it is brass, therefore, put it in question. Now I think it is “aluminum?
