A view from my living room, through the window, into the park across the river.
Derwent Inktense+Aquatone+Watercolour on Derwent A5. No way it would work without final touch by Talens/Rembrandt.
It is done on a Moly-like Derwent book which I got as a gift from the factory when complaining about fineness of their watercolour range…
All those cars are parked illegally – So much about law reinforcement in Bosnia.

Zaza, is this the former “Cara Dusana park”, now called “Atmeidan”? You have a terrific view from your window.

Yes Rene, it is! Although it is former Atmejdan and then intermediate 70-odd years Cara Dusana, and then again Atmejdan! You have remarkable ability to recognize the place from my loose painting done from a viewpoint you could not possibly experience. I’m stunned – AMAZING. Rene, I invite you for a dinner with slivovica or wine and a view, any time you like!!!
Please also check my post “quiz view” form the beginning of August. That other view is panoramic showing the same sight (much wider) in the summer.

Actually, I cheated a bit. A close collegue of mine and her husband fled from Serajevo in the 90s, and now live in Maastricht (NL). She recognised it immediately.
Whenever you post something from Serajevo I always forward it to her; she likes your drawings very much.
By the way, I did visit Serajevo before the war, I liked the city a lot. Whenever I get there again I will drop by for the drink and view.
