  Thank you Nikira and Bob. It is done as an impression from my memory and a couple of tiny photos from a city-guide. Actual arrangement is different – there simply isn’t any viewpoint from which you could see all that. Certain domes and towers I invented based entirely on my memory of this (more than) beautiful city.
  It took about 2 hours – and this is about the limit for my watercolours.
  The paints come from Schminke artist’s (Horadam)tube-watercolours. This olive green is full of gum-Arabic and turned to be a bit too shiny (hence the flash reflection mid-left). In the end I didn’t mind since it was at least different. However, I did need my trusty Talens Rembrandt half-pans to achieve the intensity of (especially) reds.

  I have difficulty to find Talens Rembrandt half-pans online, I may have to update my baby-box, if I’ll paint a lot. I hope. Do you have a link?
