Inkwork is very interesting, to look at the details, more you look-scarier it gets, diabolical clown, fish, worms, wings, him being hooked and attached to a lamp post. Nightmare. This what you where aiming for? Why is he forgotten?
On the other hand, I love patterns (with) full of things…
This was sub-conscious doodle, so I wasn’t aiming at anything (in terms of “artistic” composition). However, when I was a kid my big bro used to read me a fairytale “Happy prince” by Oscar Wilde and in spite of the title I used to cry towards the end of it. So this is what came to my mind when I saw the half-way outcome and, with that idea formed, I finalised it.
There was another (real life) prince assassinated before my window 95 years ago. He had a monument on the spot where it happened, but it lasted only a couple of years because those who murdered him came to power… and he was forgotten! This one is devoted to those two princes and perhaps many other forgotten ones.
