Beautiful depth to this scene. Very nice illustration. I just heard of some sort of an aspen tree blight in Colorado. I sure hope it doesn’t spread.

I love the addition of a new color. Funny you do things so–I don’t want to say sparingly–then just a splash of a new color and it’s very exciting. I think this is interesting that we’ve all been on the same site long enough so that, sometimes your watercolors are almost a series of events even though they’re pastoral or more like a still shot. The tree trunks on the left side almost have a perspective to make your eye enter the picture, like a path to the mountains.
