it’s actually a line from an old punk song by this band combat 84 which has just been bouncing around in my head recently. the song is called “poseur” berating those who changes styles constantly to be doing what is fashionable. this is a theme which is quite often prevalent as I examine my own life – as make the majority of my money in advertising (an industry for which I am pretty well suited skill wise, but philosophically its often like apples and oranges).
