Pictures at an Exhibition – my daughter studying in the kitchen
(she has her room, and the desk, but prefers the kitchen – perhaps if she gets hungry to be closer to the food source). Watercolour and a touch of tempera on A4.

Very well done. I bet it took some time to do this one. Are these on your wall?

Wonderful combinations of framed scenes and portraiture! The frame shadows really make the hanging ‘pop’. I really enjoy this piece!

Thank you all. It didn’t really take long. She was doing her homework and I was there to help with maths if needed. Tried tempera, and didn’t quite like it so did try to enhance it with watercolour. 3/7 are actually on the wall (with some others) and not to scale. The others were popping to my mind while trying to kill time. Did you think I would do such a messy arrangement of the paintings on the wall?
Eg. Much bigger bird’s flock painting by my father is actually in the middle above her head. Much-Much bigger blac/white/red one is in the living room. The small one (mirrored image) is in the kitchen but on the other wall. Others I invented. Perhaps I make them into actual paintings?
