That’s another one of my favorite mediums. My one problem with pastels is that they are dusty and need to be framed right away, and when they are very large (as many of mine are) glass is too heavy and acrylic has too much static electricity to which the pastel adheres, and spray changes the color. So I haven’t yet solved that problem. If anyone has any good hints of how to frame a large pastel, I’m all ears!!!
Parece pastel pero he utilizado ceras de colores (crayón). El problema es que el papel que utilicé como soporte es muy malo y se satura muy pronto, ademñas de la humedad propia del mar, pues es un dibujo hecho del natural, en la misma playa donde está encallado el barco “American Star”.
