Yes, it is amazing. I used to fight that sort of traffic every day when I lived there and saw people do the most amazing things—eat, curl their hair, knit, draw, play a guitar or a harmonica, kiss passionately or argue, etc., etc. and some people who tried to cheat by passing everyone on the shoulder, while they were stuck in it. It’s hard to believe there are that many cars in the world.
Sometimes I wonder what my grandmother would have thought. I recall when my father first got a car and he’d be going over 30 m.p.h. she would freak out at the “speed”, and she’d nearly faint when there was an oncoming car on a highway because she was sure it would hit us even though there were only two cars on the road.
Funny how times change, and the world seems to spin faster and faster.

Nice composition! It looks like a lane merge with the cars pointing in different directions. Houston is alot like L.A. with it’s urban sprawl and perpetual traffic jams. I stay clear of both cities.
