  This is very good, Mick. It does, indeed, bring up thoughts of Steinbeck’s writing. If you look back at my post (Jan 25th 2009)you will see that Susan Rudat gave me some information about John Steinbeck’s son. I got a copy of this book, from our library, and both my wife and I enjoyed reading it.

  Susan said “Steinbeck is one of my favorite authors. Thomas, his son, has a brilliant book also. “Down to a Soundless Sea”.
